Our Internship Programs are offered to talented students or graduates who want to join Captain Euro’s team, and be part of building the brand of the European Union and a European identity. Yes, you too can become part of history and learn how we write, create, produce and market Europe’s Superhero!
Gold Mercury International offers several different kinds of internships. Some are project-based. Some are time-based. Some are remote (you can work from your country or home) and some are at our offices in London. We encourage applicants to apply for more than one if they feel they have the skills that fit the bill. Internships and projects are available now in the following areas:
Editorial and Story Writing Internship
Do you want to learn the art of mesmerising audiences? Are you interested in a mix of intrigue, journalism, political science, international affairs, sustainability and global governance? Are you a multitasker who likes research and leaves no stone unturned? Do you have the powers of intellect, logic and believe in building a better world? The type who’s into working independently? Do you think you have what it takes to put your skills to the test and write compelling, humorous and sarcastic global political affairs stories? You will learn to rationalise real world politics to deliver compelling stories and humour so people can understand true political and social realities. You will deliver the TRUTH in a fun and exciting way.
Cartoonists, Digital Graphic Artists,
Are you a graphic artist? Or a cartoonist? Do you feel that you can draw or enhance the power of our magnificent heroes and our stories? Prepare to design, draw, scan, rework designs, retouch art, pass files, and develop your skills by creating interesting and exciting designs! Multitaskers only. Do you want to learn or perfect your graphic or digital graphic skills? Superhero applicants must be able to provide portfolio samples that demonstrate their ability to work with these Creative Suite programs. Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and knowledge of Captain Euro characters a must!
Multimedia designers
Are you a millennial web designer who yearns to improve the world via digital media? Do you want to learn or practice your multimedia skills and save the world? Do you have magical skills in WordPress, app design, interface design, graphics, animation, or film? Tasks include website design, wallpaper design, banner design, ad design, scanning, interface design, image selection, flash animation, digital production and graphic production. In an area that needs so many superpowers, this is your chance to join our superheroes! Adobe Creative Suite a must!
Online digital marketing and social media
Are you a king of digital mastery or marketing? Want to help defeat DR D. VIDER so Captain Euro and his team can keep Europe United? Then you will be involved in social media reporting and analysis, assisting in maintaining the Captain Euro and BRAND EU websites and network. You will be involved in various online research projects and participate in brainstorming sessions, sales and traffic analysis, assisting in research of new revenue opportunities and ongoing site improvement. Good knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and emerging social media networks/technologies is a must. You should be internet savvy, and have strong writing and research skills. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task also important.
